Why Local SEO matters
When people search “best {service} near me,” they’re ready to buy. If you don’t appear in the map pack and top organic results, you’re invisible at the moment of purchase. This 90-day plan shows how to fix that.
Phase 1 (Days 1–14): Foundation
- Claim & optimize Google Business Profile (GBP): Correct NAP (name, address, phone), categories, services, hours, attributes, service area, UTM-tagged website URL.
- Photos & posts: Upload logo, exterior, team, service shots; schedule weekly GBP Posts with offers or FAQs.
- On-site local signals: Create a dedicated location landing page with embedded map, NAP in footer, local schema (LocalBusiness), and unique copy.
- Citations: Submit consistent NAP to top directories (Justdial, IndiaMART, Sulekha, Yelp, Bing Places, Apple Maps).
Phase 2 (Days 15–45): Trust & proximity
- Reviews engine: Add a QR code at checkout, set up email/SMS review asks, reply to all reviews with keywords (“Thanks for choosing us for {service} in {city}”).
- Local content: Publish 2–3 “best in {area}” guides, pricing pages, and service FAQs targeted to neighborhoods you serve.
- Internal links: Link from blog posts → location page with anchor “{service} in {city}”.
Phase 3 (Days 46–90): Momentum
- Citations cleanup: Fix duplicates/inconsistencies.
- Local backlinks: Sponsor a community event, list on chamber of commerce, collaborate with nearby blogs—aim for 5–10 local links.
- Tracking: Set up UTM on GBP, track Calls, Directions, and Website Visits. Monitor ranking radius with a geo-grid tool.
